Professional Background
Mr. Beeghley is the President and Founder of Applied Economics LLC, an international corporate finance and business valuation firm in Atlanta. The firm’s corporate finance activities include mergers, acquisitions and private equity, and the firm’s financial advisory services include business and intangible asset valuation, transfer pricing analysis, providing fairness and solvency opinions and litigation support services.
Mr. Beeghley is an international expert on mergers & acquisitions and securities valuation and has been quoted or interviewed for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta Business Chronicle, The Georgia Business Report (GPTV), Catalyst Magazine and Reuters News Service ( New York). Additionally, Mr. Beeghley has testified as an expert and provided expert opinions on numerous economic, financial and securities issues.
Mr. Beeghley has over seventeen years of financial industry experience, including sixteen years specifically in corporate finance and securities valuation. Prior to forming Applied Economics in 1998, Mr. Beeghley was a Manager in the Corporate Finance Group of Ernst & Young, LLP and a Senior Analyst in the Corporate Finance Group of PriceWaterhouseCoopers, both international “Big Four” accounting firms.
Education and Professional Affiliations
Mr. Beeghley holds a Master of Accountancy (Taxation) and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Mississippi State University. Mr. Beeghley is an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers (“ASA”).
