Professional Background
Mr. Gingrey is a Director with Applied Economics, providing more than twelve years experience in corporate finance and business valuation. Mr. Gingrey has performed hundreds of valuations for privately held and publicly traded companies, both domestic and foreign, for purposes including financial reporting, gift and estate tax, charitable contribution, and acquisition pricing analysis. He has also worked closely with private equity funds in valuing portfolio investments and raising private equity capital for startup companies in the health care industry. Mr. Gingrey has worked extensively in industries such as industrial manufacturing, retail and distribution, technology, health care, restaurants and automotive.
Prior to joining Applied Economics, Mr. Gingrey was a Manager with Value Prism Consulting, LLC from 2006 to 2009 and a Managing Consultant with Navigant Consulting from 2002 to 2006. From 1997 to 2002, Mr. Gingrey was a Manager/Senior Consultant with BearingPoint, LLC (formerly KPMG LLP).
Education and Professional Affiliations
Mr. Gingrey holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) and a Bachelor of Science degree in International Affairs from Georgia Tech. Mr. Gingrey is an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers certified in Business Valuation ("ASA") and a Level II candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation administered by the CFA Institute.
