Eric Kreimer, ASA

Managing Director

Mr. Kreimer is a director with Applied Economics. In his role at AE, he originates and manages both corporate finance and business valuation assignments across multiple industries, with a focus in healthcare services and technology.

Mr. Kreimer has over 20 years of financial advisory and investment banking experience. Prior to joining Applied Economics, Mr. Kreimer was a director with CBIZ Valuation Group, where he provided a wide range of valuation related services. Mr. Kreimer previously held the position of vice president of financial advisory services for PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities, Inc., where he served the healthcare services industry, originating and processing M&A, capital raise and corporate finance transactions among a wide variety of healthcare service companies as well as not-for-profit hospitals, health systems and academic medical centers. Prior to PricewaterhouseCoopers, he was with Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc., where he served as vice president of investment banking and provided services to the healthcare and financial institutions industries. Additionally, Mr. Kreimer has served as vice president of fixed income investment banking at NationsBank Capital Markets, Inc. originating and underwriting new issue public debt and derivatives for a wide range of municipal and for-profit entities.

Mr. Kreimer has been a licensed securities representative (Series 7 and 63) and currently holds the designation of Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) from the American Society of Appraisers. From 2002-2009, he served on Gwinnett Health System, Inc.’s Board of Directors, on both the Executive and Finance Committees and as chair of the Performance Appraisal and Compensation Committee. Mr. Kreimer has been a member of the Board of Visitors of Grady Health System, Inc., the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), St. Joseph’s Grand Rounds for Community Leaders and the Atlanta Regional Health Forum (ARHF). Mr. Kreimer has been actively involved with other civic organizations including The Shepard Spinal Center, Hosea Feed the Hungry, Habitat for Humanity and Hands on Atlanta.

Mr. Kreimer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration degree in corporate finance and banking from the University of Georgia.
